Trinity Swimming and Diving: End of Year Banquet 2011

The team got together Tuesday night at Tycoon Flats to celebrate our seniors, our season, and the end of a school year (minus the finals they're all taking right now!). To sum it all up, the 2010-2011 season was a great year for us. We had 5 fabulous freshman women and 4 great guys join our team this year. They were definitely a group of difference makers at Conference. The season was packed full of team building swims, dual meets, and invitationals on our way to the Conference Championship. There, the women won their 8th consecutive team title and broke 5 school records in the process. The men came in second and shattered 4 school records of their own.

We had a great bunch of seniors this year. Kristen Zinser, Leigh-Anne Ladymon, Mary West, Hayley Emerick, Rebecca Parrish, Andrew Snead, and Jack Foreman will be hard to replace, but we're definitely excited for their futures outside of Trinity and we'll be cheering for them on their journeys! Personally, I've enjoyed getting to know these seniors as athletes and leaders, first as their teammate and then as their coach. More to their credit though, I've been impressed with them as students and people in general. They are fun, hard-working, irreplaceable members of our team. While the team will continue to grow without you, we're definitely going to miss you!
